My first visit to Bandon Dunes was the year it opened, 1999. The golf was unbelievable and the town quaint as it could be. It was love at first sight. My wife and I came back every year for at least 10 days, and really got to know the area. We loved the view, we loved the ocean, and most of all, we loved the golf. As an avid golfer who has taken many terrific golf trips with my buddies over the last 11 years, one complaint I heard frequently was that the accommodations were never quite right and just didn't meet our needs. We were, after all, a golf GROUP, and we wanted to stay somewhere that was built and designed for groups. So, by combining the great success of Bandon Dunes along with a need for comfortable group lodging, "A Bandon Inn" was born. Now in our 5th season, our goal is to make guests feel like they're at home while they're on the road. Guests tell us we've thought of everything. We want to enhance your golf experience with our personal service and attention to detail. Our commitment to continuously improving A Bandon Inn, and increasing your level of comfort is ongoing. Last year we added a 1000 ft. deck and firepit! A great spot for before golf, after golf, before dinner, after dinner, before bed, after breakfast, whatever, place to swap stories, smoke stogies and leave the rest behind.
